Two thousand and never

Oh hey, still not officially done. Our move in date of two thousand and never is still accurate.

We did get the certificate of occupancy late last week, and we are supposed to close tomorrow.

We haven’t moved anything in yet because we are waiting to hear back from the builder about the floors that look worse than they looked before the floor guy came back to “fix them”. As my Uncle Keith would have said “always fighting something”. #afs 

Anyway, instead of getting super worked up, I’ve decided to think about the positive (and implement some breathing exercises into my life and pray to God that one day I will be a more patient human being):

1) overall, we love the house! 

2) the appraisal and all the funding/paperwork/etc came through and worked out well so hopefully we get to sign off on all that tomorrow

3) we got the sod in this weekend (which included 2 round trips to Bay City for my two favorite guys!)

4) I looooove the grass

5) it’s about to be so much fun to unpack and decorate!!!
