We finally live here!!

I took a quick hiatus from the blog because things got real. Real frustrating. So, I decided the best thing for me to do was to step away from the keyboard. After all, my momma taught me “if you don’t have something nice to say, then don’t say anything at all.” 

And the next thing you know, WE ARE DONE!! And we do love this place.  Like, I can’t even believe I get to live here. Yay!

We ended up moving the majority of our possessions on July 2nd. I’d taken the day off the 3rd and was off the 4th, so it ended up working out that I had some time to keep unpacking. We also had some amazing help from friends and family – and we couldn’t have done it without them. Thank you, thank you!!! 

We still have a ton of decorating to do (eeeeep! My very favorite!), but we are mostly done with moving stuff. 

Danny and I went back to the old house this evening (we need to be out by July 31) and did some work. That part is the not so fun part! Here are a couple photos for now. Once we get all the rooms situated, I will post more. 

We’ve already had some out of town weekend guests, a birthday shindig, and a couple last minute BBQs. And, in case you’ve been concerned, Honey is adjusting to her new home quite well!
